An AI visibility tool (also called GEO or AEO software) tracks how a brand appears inside AI answers - which prompts surface it, which sources get cited, how competitors rank, and how sentiment reads - across engines like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews. The strongest tools add citation tracking, AI crawler analytics, Reddit and community signal, and recommended actions. SEO suites layer a lighter AI view onto traditional rank tracking.
